THE HERD
Our herd is mostly made up of beautiful Belted Galloway & Hereford cattle. Each breed has been chosen for their hardiness, eating quality and versatility in the UK climate. Not to mention they are both traditional British breeds. Both breeds thrive in our low input, regenerative system that puts nature and animal welfare at the forefront of what we do.
THE BREED
Hereford
The Hereford is a beautiful red cow with white points, known for their hardy nature and distinctive white faces. In cold months they grow a thick, mossy coat for insulation, creating a unique texture in their hides.
THE BREED
Belted Galloway
The Belted Galloway comes in black, red, or dun, each with a unique white belt. Their spectacular double coat provides incredible insulation, resulting in rugs with exceptional softness and character.
